The 4-day events attract at least 400 dealers cover every area of antique collecting and period design, with more than 100 dealers specializing in ceramics, at least 50 galleries showing fine art and about 30 dealers offering furniture. Silver, jewelry and collectibles - Steiff teddy bears, French clocks, fine engravings, working barometers, tea caddies, early tin-plate toys, scientific instruments, early arms and armour, garden statuary, kitchen antiques, decorative brass and copper, samplers, sculpture and textiles - are also available.
It has been estimated that as much as £10 million worth of antiques change hands during the fair. But prices below £50 are not uncommon.
