With The Oxford Experience, The University of Oxford offers week-long summer school courses, open to everyone, during a five-week period, beginning with the Sunday of the first week in July. Study at Oxford University for the pure enjoyment of learning - with no papers, no tests, no exams. The program of study at Oxford University is residential giving participants the experience of real student life, including meals at a historic hall, at Christ Church, one of Oxford's oldest and most beautiful colleges.

Studying and living in the lap of history
The seminars take place at Christ Church, a college founded by Cardinal Wolsely in the 16th century. Not only do participants study in this prestigious college, they also stay in Christ Church student accommodation and dine in Christ Church's Hall, lined with portraits of former students - W.H. Auden, William Penn, Lewis Carroll, John Wesley, John Locke and William Gladstone among them.Once a week, each student is invited to dine at the High Table. There is also a champagne reception in Christ Church Cathedral Garden and a farewell celebration dinner in the Hall.
All-inclusive arrangements
Fees cover tuition, room and board - three buffet meals a day, the champagne reception and the end of the week celebration dinner. Accommodation is in student halls - which may have shared facilities - but accommodation with private bathrooms can be arranged.Extra excursions to soak up the atmosphere
There's plenty of time outside the classroom to have a real Oxford experience - enjoying the city's cultural life, its restaurants and pubs, riverside walks and boating on the Thames. Participants can take part in special lectures, attend Evensong in the college chapel - which is Oxford's Cathedral, and take part in a range of day and evening events, including:- excursions to stately homes
