Greywalls Hotel, a luxury country house hotel in East Lothian, was designed in 1901 by Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens, one of the great British architects of the early 20th century. Lutyens, associated with the arts and crafts movement, also designed the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., The Cenotaph in London and was the architect of New Delhi.

The house, in the midst of golf courses and near the beaches of the Firth of Forth, is within easy reach of Edinburgh. It is known for it's unusual crescent shape and for its walled gardens, said to be the work of Lutyens frequent colleague, the garden designer Gertrude Jekyll.

Built as a private, summer home, the house is described in Houses and Gardens by Sir Edwin Lutyens by Sir Laurence Weaver. Greywalls became a country house hotel in 1948, making it one of Britain's oldest.
